Cases are used in some languages to express the relations between words in a sentence. In Russian, there are six cases (Nominative, Genitive, Dative, Accusative, Instrumental and Prepositional). Nouns, adjectives, pronouns and numbers are changed in cases. Here is a table with endings of nouns in all the cases.
